Jaguar XJ4.2C Auto

SOLD

Blue/Moroccan Bronze (267) – 1978 – 70,000 miles – 2 previous keepers – full MOT – no service – no history

Available with full MOT and recent service

Just two previous owners, this is a solid, well preserved and very useable coupe which presents very nicely in it’s colour change light blue metallic paintwork. Originally a Moroccan Bronze car, the previous owner took the decision to give the car a more up-to-date hue with what appears to have been a high quality repaint.

Having had a recent full service and proper going through at Miles Classic, the car now runs like a dream. Gliding effortlessly along like a Jaguar should, the engine is smooth and powerful, the gearbox unflustered and the brakes are excellent.

Inside, the biscuit velour interior might not have the cache of leather, but the condition is time-warp. The seats are firm and appear to have been rarely sat in, the switchgear operates correctly, the woodwork is fine and a recent headlining and other trim makes this a very nice place to spend time.

As a two owner car it would be very nice to have a file full of history and supporting paperwork, but unfortunately this has been lost along the way and so the condition is the only guide to how well this car has been cared for.

Fully working and ready to roll, this is a nice example of a rare car. Now ready for a caring owner to spend a bit of time, effort and not very much money, the detailing of this coupe will easily transform it to exceptional condition.
